I saw your message on the fdroid forum and thought i’d check the game out. On web, i played the tutorial, the started level one. I “saved” two eggs, but then nothing happened.
I’d recommend letting users “click trough” any timer. The mechanic is quite simple and unique, I’m a bit curious about the later levels.
Thanks for pointing out the problem. Apparently there's a bug in the way Unity processes animation events in the WebGL version. It should be fixed now. If you like the mechanic, I suggest you try the APK version, as it's designed with multi-touch screens in mind.
I tried it again on pc in web, the game was now stuck at the end of the second level. The hen now longer laid eggs, but the game was just waiting with music, no level finished screen. I suggest you test your game on this platform a few times. The difficulty is quite high with a mouse, maybe too high given how the graphics and music communicate a casual atmosphere.
I absolutely agree. The version that is tested thoroughly is the Android version, and it's also the one that is easier to play (as the levels are designed for multitouch screens). The purpose of the Web / Windows version is only to give you an idea of how the game works, as many people will doubt before installing an APK in their devices.
That aside, it's true that this is confusing for the players. So apart from fixing the blocking issue (I am currently working on it) I think of two solutions.
1.- Limit the WebPlayer/Windows version to the 3 or 4 levels that are really solvable using only the mouse and pointing the player to the Android version at the end.
2.- Design a level pack specifically for devices that only have mouse.
As my time is limited the first one has more chances.
Thanks again for your feedback and I'll notify when the fix is ready.
The fix of the blocking issue is ready. As I said in my previous reply, the web version is still not solvable using only the mouse, so I will do my best to make it enjoyable too.
